MarDon Resort hosts several fishing tournaments and special family events throughout the year!
We have continued to be a local favorite destination because of some of the events and surrounding community events held annually in this area. Our central location, large lake and access to several seep lakes make MarDon Resort a haven for water recreation events. If you are a fishing sportsman you will find our fishing tournaments to be some of the best held in the state and not to mention we have several family events such as an annual favorite Lake Games and beach party!
June 7-8, 2025. Free Fishing Weekend. WDFW is allowing anglers to fish for species like trout, bass, and shad without a license . While licenses are waived for many species, regulations such as size and bag limits still apply, so be sure to check the rules before heading out.
June 27-29, 2025. Bass Angler Magazine Tournament Trail. Get Ready — Big Stage, Big Media, Big Prizes! The Bass Boat Technologies BAM Pro-Am presented by Tackle Warehouse is hitting Potholes Reservoir June 27–29 — and it’s going to be HUGE! July 3-6, 2025. 4th of July Celebration. Attention Golf Cart owners. This is a chance to ecorate your cart for fun and prizes. Over the weekend wMarDon will showcase a fireworks extravaganza!
